Backup Chargeback report

This report shows the chargeback of your backup services in Historical and Ranking views. You need to have a cost formula created to generate this report.

The following table shows the filters for Backup Chargeback report and how you can use these filters to view specific data in the report.

Select a view to show data for the selected view in the report. By default All My Views is selected.

Master Server

Master Server

Select one or more master servers to view data for the selected master servers in the report. All master servers that are added to the OpsCenter console are shown in the Value dropdown list.

Example of filter usage: Run the Backup Chargeback report for a specific master server to view the cost savings for the specific master server

The following report enhancements have been made for Backup Chargeback report:

  • The option Next has been removed from the drop-down menu for Relative Timeframe. You now cannot enter a relative timeframe like Next 2 weeks.

  • The following options have been removed from Time Frame Group By selection:

    • Days of week Average

    • Days of week total

    • Hours of day Average

    • Hours of day Total

    • Minutes

    • Month of year Average

    • Month of year total

    • Quarter

    • Quarter of year Average

    • Quarter of year total

  • The unit Years has been added for Relative Timeframe selection. You can now view data for the last x years.

  • The following Report On options have been added under Backup Job Attributes:

    • Job Status (Complete and Partial only)

    • Job Status (Complete only)

    The following Report On options have been removed:

    • Backup Image Copy Is Currently Expired

    • Backup Image Copy Media Server

    • Backup Image Encryption State

    • Backup Image Fragment Is Currently Expired

    • Backup Image Is Currently Expired

    • Backup Image Type

    • Data Classification Master Server

    • Data Classification Name

  • The Master Server Operating System filter has been removed.
