System time is 17 hours ahead in Japan (UTC+9, Osaka, Sapporo, Tokyo time zone) after recovery by Simplified Disaster Recovery (SDR) that was created on Backup Exec 20.5 or 20.6.

Cause
This issue happens when the following 2 conditions are met :
1. The hardware does not have the time zone setting and the hardware clock is set to Local time.
2. Booting from SDR media that was created with UTC+9 Osaka, Sapporo, Tokyo time zone.

A hotfix is now available for this issue in the current version(s) of the product(s) mentioned in this article. Refer to the Hotfix link under Related Documents at the end of this article to obtain the hotfix needed to resolve the issue.

NOTE:
Please recreate the SDR media after applying this Hotfix. Please set your timezone on SDR wizard after booting from the SDR media. After then, set the correct local time on the command prompt if needed.
Workaround:
Manually set the accurate local time on BIOS or OS after the restore completes.
