Importing an LDAP server configuration
You can use the .xml
file that includes the LDAP server configuration details. The NetBackup appliance configures and connects to the LDAP server using these details.
Note:
The .xml
file must be saved and made available in the /inst/patch/incoming
directory on the appliance.
To import an LDAP server configuration
- Log on to the NetBackup Appliance Web Console.
- Click Settings > Authentication >LDAP to expand the LDAP Server Configuration.
- Select the Import existing configuration option.
The appliance displays the File Name field.
- Enter the absolute path to the
.xml
file in the File Name field.The
.xml
file must be saved and made available in the/inst/patch/incoming
directory on the appliance. - Click Import.
The appliance imports the
.xml
file. The appliance configures and connects to the LDAP server using the XML details.
