NetBackup status code: 8300
Explanation: If the data-in-transit encryption is enforced in the entire domain and the operation involves a client or a backup host running a version before 9.1, the data cannot be encrypted. As a result of this requirement, the backup or the recovery fails.
Recommended Action: Perform the following:
Upgrade the NetBackup client or the backup host to a version that supports data-in-transit encryption.
Contact your security administrator and change the data-in-transit encryption global setting to PREFERRED_ON or PREFERRED_OFF.
Note that the data-in-transit encryption is disabled during communication with hosts running a version before 9.1.
