Removing an MVG server configuration

Perform the following steps to remove an MVG server configuration.

To remove an MVG server configuration

On NetBackup, remove all the configuration of the corresponding storage unit, disk pool, and storage server with an MVG server.
Delete the MVG volumes from the MVG server.
Note:
Do not delete the MVG volumes if you want to preserve the MVG data or want to reconfigure the MVG server by reusing the existing data.
Stop the NetBackup services on the host.
bp.kill_all
Delete the storage server data on the disk.
- Run the following script.
  /usr/openv/pdde/pdconfigure/scripts/installers/PDDE_deleteConfig.sh
  Type y and press Enter.
  The configuration file is restored to the original state.
- Delete the data in the MSDP storage path and database path.
  Note:
  Do not perform this step if you want to preserve the MVG data or want to reconfigure the MVG server by reusing the existing data.
Restart the NetBackup services on the host.
