NetBackup for SAP HANA
Licensing for SAP HANA is specific to the SAP policy type. This type of licensing collects the total number of Front-End Terabytes (FETBs) protected by NetBackup.
NetBackup calculates the size by summing up the size of all files in the HANA Instance data directory.
For example, if you have the following SAP HANA instance directory: /usr/sap/InstanceName/SYS/global/hdb/data/
, the sum of the size of all files available in this directory is calculated.
The following command is used for each subdirectory to verify the size that the accurate licensing method reports:
ls -lh <Subdirectory path>
