Adding a NetBackup for Domino policy
This topic describes how to add a new backup policy for a database.
To create a policy to backup database supporting files, you need to perform a different procedure.
See Configuring a backup policy for Notes database supporting files.
To add a new NetBackup for Domino policy
- Open the NetBackup web UI.
- On the left, select Protection > Policies. Then select Add.
- Type a unique name for the new policy.
- From the Policy type list, select Lotus-Notes.
The Lotus-Notes policy type does not appear in the drop-down list unless your primary server has a license for the database agent.
- Complete the entries on the Attributes tab.
Add other policy information as follows:
Add schedules.
Add clients.
Add database objects to the backup selections list.
- When you have added all the schedules, clients, and backup selections you need, click Create.
