Configure capture scope for Google Drive connectors
You can use one of the following procedures as per your backup requirement:
Back up all users
Exclude a few users from the backup scope
Back up specific users only
Back up specific groups only
Back up Shared drives
To configure the Google Drive connector to backup all users
- Click All users.
- Select the Backup deleted items check box to back up the deleted data.
Do not select the check box to exclude the backup of the deleted items.
Note:
In Google Drive, by default, items are permanently deleted from the recycle bin after 30 days.
- Select the Capture permissions check box to capture the permissions on the items.
- To limit the backup scope to specific folders only.
- Click Next to configure credentials.
To configure the Google Drive connector to exclude a few users from this backup scope
- Click All users.
- Click Add users.
- On the Add users address page, enter the email addresses of the users who are to be excluded from the backup scope.
Use semicolon between email addresses.
- Click Add.
- Select the Backup deleted items check box to back up the deleted data.
Do not select the check box to exclude the backup of the deleted items.

To configure the Google Drive connector to backup specific users
- Click Specific users.

You can also add email addresses of the groups that are to be included in the backup.
