Troubleshooting connections to the NetBackup Scale-Out Relational Database
If you see connection issues with your account and the NetBackup database, the account and password information in the pgbouncer's userlist.txt
file may be out of sync with the NetBackup database. To resolve this situation, use the nbdb_admin -update-user-list command to sync the information in the file and the database.
To sync the userlist.txt file with the NetBackup database
- Run the following command:
UNIX:
/usr/openv/db/bin/nbdb_admin -update_user_list
Windows:
install_path\NetBackup\bin\nbdb_admin -update_user_list
- If you continue to see connection issues, restart the NetBackup services.
