About intelligent group
You can create and protect a dynamic group of assets by defining the intelligent asset groups based on a set of filters called queries. NetBackup selects the Kubernetes namespaces based on the queries and then adds them to the group. An intelligent group automatically reflects changes in the asset environment and eliminates the need to manually revise the list of assets in the group when the assets are added or removed from the environment.
When you a apply protection plan to an intelligent group, all the assets satisfying the query conditions are automatically protected.
Note:
You can create, update, or delete the intelligent groups only if your role has the necessary RBAC permissions for the assets that you require to manage. The NetBackup security administrator can grant you access for an asset type (clusters, namespaces, and VMGroup). Refer to the NetBackup Web UI Administrator's Guide.
