Delete a Restore
Once a Restore is no longer needed, it can be safely deleted from a protection.
Deleting a Restore only deletes the NetBackup for OpenStack information about this Restore. No OpenStack resources are deleted.
There are two possibilities to delete a Restore.
Possibility 1: Single Restore deletion through the submenu
To delete a single Restore through the submenu follow these steps:
On the Horizon console, navigate to NBOS Backups > Protection.
Identify the protection that contains the recovery point to delete.
Click the protection name to enter the protection overview.
Navigate to the
tab.Identify the searched recovery point in the recovery point list.
Click the recovery point name.
Navigate to the Restore tab.
Click
in the line of the restore in question.Click
again to confirm.
Possibility 2: Multiple Restore deletion through a checkbox in recovery point overview
To delete one or more Restores through the Restore list do the following:
On the Horizon console, navigate to NBOS Backups > Protection.
Identify the protection that contains the recovery point to show.
Click the protection name to enter the protection overview.
Navigate to the Recovery Points tab.
Identify the searched recovery point in the recovery points list.
Enter the recovery point by clicking the recovery point name.
Navigate to the Restore tab.
Select the check box for each Restore that shall be deleted.
Click

again to confirm.
nbosjm restore-delete <restores_id>
<restore_id> ID of the restore to be deleted.
