Configuring the replication job

You have to configure replication to activate replication-related policies. As part of this configuration, you have to set up the replication VIP and replication link.

Archival policies use the Veritas replication feature.

See the Access Appliance Administration Guide for more information on configuring replication.

To configure replication

  1. Log on to the Access Appliance GUI.
  2. Click Settings > Replication Management
  3. Enter the required information for setting up the replication VIP.
  4. Enter the required information to set up the replication link.

    Note:

    Step 1 to 3 should be performed from both source and target clusters and step 4 should be performed only from source cluster.
