Pre-Install setup

  1. Login to the virtual machine as root or Server where NetBackup IT Analytics is installed.
  2. Download the following four files form the product download area of the website and save them to /tmp folder.

    • xdb6.jar

    • xmlparserv2-sans-jaxp-services.jar

    • p6880880_190000_Linux-x86-64.zip

    • p34773489_190000_Linux-x86-64.zip

  3. cd /tmp
  4. Log in to the server as root.
  5. Stop all services using command:
    /opt/aptare/bin/aptare stop

    Note:

    Please ensure all NetBackup IT Analytics services are stopped. If services are still running, will it cause issues further during patch installation.

    Note:

    If any of the 2022 Oracle patches have been already applied, the first two files from the download are not required.

  6. Verify if all the required rpms are installed before applying Oracle patches. Refer the link below:
