Partial support for internationalization (I18N)
Veritas Access provides partial support for I18N in this release.
The partial support includes:
The name of the cloud service can be in a foreign language.
The pattern for data movement and Data Delete policy can be in a foreign language.
Data inside a share can be in a foreign language. Names of files and directories in the share can also be in a foreign language.
Name of the cloud service in a foreign language
Veritas Access supports for the following cloud services:
Alibaba
AWS
AWS Gov Cloud (US)
Azure
Google
S3-compatible
Beginning from this release, when you add a cloud service, you can provide the name for the cloud service in a foreign language while adding the cloud services.
You can also provide the name for the cloud service in a foreign language while adding a cloud tier.
Data movement pattern in a foreign language
By default, a scale-out file system has a single tier (also known as a primary tier), which is the on-premises storage for the scale-out file system. You can add a cloud service as an additional tier. After a cloud tier is configured, you can move the data between the tiers of the scale-out file system, as required. You can specify the pattern-matching criteria to indicate the files or directories that need to be moved between the tiers.
Beginning from this release, you can specify this pattern-matching criteria in a foreign language.
