About network connections for the appliance
The following diagram shows how to connect the Access 3340 Appliance to the network. Note that the eth4 and eth5 public NICs must be plugged into the motherboard. Ensure that the appliance nodes are cabled as shown below:

The management network and the data network can be the same.
The following diagram shows how to connect the Access 3350 appliance to the network. Note that the eth4 and eth6 public NICs must be plugged into the motherboard when you perform the initial cluster configuration. The eth5 and eth7 public NICs are optional and need not be plugged in. Ensure that the appliance nodes are cabled as shown below:
