Backup operation fails with bpbrm error 8857

This error is encountered if you have not included the NetBackup client on NetBackup primary server allowed list.

Workaround:

You must perform the allowlisting procedure on NetBackup primary server if you want to use the NetBackup client as the backup host. For more information, See Including a NetBackup client on NetBackup primary server allowed list.
