Adding a cloud server
Using the Resiliency Platform console, you can add an existing cloud server to the Infrastructure Management Server (IMS) on the cloud.
To add a cloud server
- In the Add Cloud Server wizard panel, enter the following details:
For AWS cloud configuration:
Enter a configuration name.
Enter the AWS access key.
Enter the AWS secret key.
Select the region.
Enter the name of the S3 bucket that already exists in the region and is accessible with the user credentials that you have entered.
For vCloud configuration name:
Enter vCloud URL.
Enter Organization name.
Enter username for the Organization. This user must have organization administrator role assigned.
Enter password for the user.
Enter the port number if you want to change the default port.
Click Next after filling in the details. If there are multiple virtual data centers associated with the Organization, you need to select the virtual data center which you want to use for cloud configuration.
- Click Finish to complete the configuration.
Note:
From the Resiliency Platform console, you can add multiple IMSs to a single cloud data center, but this configuration is not yet supported in Veritas Resiliency Platform.
