Setting the minimum data segment size on AIX 7.3

Before you invoke the InfoScale installer on AIX 7.3, make sure that the data segment size is set to at least 300 MB. Otherwise, the installation may fail due to memory allocation issues.

To adjust the data segment size, run the following command before you run the InfoScale installer:

# ulimit -d 307200

Make sure to apply this setting in the environment where the installer is executed.
