Configuration requirements for snapshots
Make sure that you complete the following configuration requirements before scheduling or taking Enterprise Vault snapshots:
Install the required hardware and software.
Set up Enterprise Vault Server for use with Storage Foundation for Windows (SFW).
See Configuring Enterprise Vault storage with Storage Foundation for Windows.
Invoke the Enterprise Vault Management Shell to set the execution policy to unrestricted.
Configure the Veritas Scheduler Service on all Enterprise Vault servers in the Enterprise Vault configuration.
Ensure that required services are running:

Ensure that you have disks with enough space to store the snapshot volumes. Each snapshot set requires the same amount of space as the original volumes.
