Applying upgrade to Resiliency Platform for managing InfoScale clusters
From 10.3 version, the dependency of adding Veritas InfoScale Operations Manager into resiliency domain is removed. The InfoScale applications are discovered using Infrastructure management Server (IMS) when the corresponding Infoscale clusters are configured into Veritas Resiliency Platform.
You need to configure Infrastructure Management Server (IMS) on each of source and target data center so that the application discovered using Veritas InfoScale Operations Manager server are moved to the desired IMS. The Application Cluster card will disappear if the IMS is not configured in the source and target data centers.
The Veritas InfoScale Operations Manager servers should be already configured into the Resiliency Platform. You need to apply a Veritas Resiliency Platform Enablement add-on of version 3.5 (VRTSsfmitrp) for Veritas InfoScale Operations Manager server.
To apply upgrade to the Resiliency Platform for managing InfoScale clusters without the Veritas InfoScale Operations Manager, perform the following steps:

You can see a list of all the applicable add-ons for a particular Veritas InfoScale Operations Manager version.
Select the Resiliency Platform version 3.5 and download the Veritas Resiliency Platform Enablement add-on.
Log in into Veritas InfoScale Operations Manager server console. Go to
and upload the .sfa file that you have downloaded and extracted within the patch folders.
Select the add-on on the Veritas InfoScale Operations Manager console. No need to install the add-on on cluster hosts. Restart the Web server by clicking on the
on the task bar.
Log in into Resiliency Platform console and navigate through below path:

Select the desired IMS from the dropdown. Click
.Verify that the cluster is now reporting to the IMS selected from the dropdown and is seen in the
table.The Veritas InfoScale Operation Manager server is automatically removed from the Resiliency Platform. The Infoscale clusters being discovered from Veritas InfoScale Operation Manager can be seen under
table.Note:
If a resiliency group is created using the cluster which is moved to the IMS, the resiliency group remains operable as no changes are made to the resiliency group.
When the clusters are successfully added into the IMS, initially the status of the clusters is
. The status of the cluster states whether the clusters are reachable by the IMS. After the clusters are configured completely, the status is changed to . If the IMS is unable to reach any of the host, the status could change to .More Information
