Detection of database corruption in Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server
Starting with NetBackup 11.0, NetBackup can detect database corruption scenarios in Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server. After detecting database corruption, the associated backup job fails with status code 5464. You can refer to the status code documentation for troubleshooting the issue. To generate an alert for such a scenario, configure the
anomaly detection option. For more details, see the 'Configure system anomaly detection settings' topic in the NetBackup Security and Encryption Guide.
