Problem

The DLO Agent is not connecting to the DLO Admin Server.

Cause

This issue generally caused by Database References that do not contain correct entries and/or insufficient rights on SQL Database (DLO) to Open, Query, and Write information and/or the Microsoft OLE DB Driver for SQL Server connector not installed or not installed properly.

Solution

Use ODBC Data Sources to test Named Pipes connection between the DLO Agent and the DLO Database.

Click the Windows start and type ODBC Data to start a search for ODBC Data Sources (32-bit). Choose the option to Run as administrator.

Under the User DSN tab click Add and choose SQL Server and click Finish

Enter a name for the New Data Source to SQL Server, example "Test" and enter the SQL Server and Instance name then click Next.

Click on the "Client Configuration" and choose Named Pipes and click OK and then Next.

Change the default database to "DLO" and click Next and "Finish".

Click on Test Data Source and it will test the Named Pipes connection from the client to the Database Server.
