SYMPTOM:
Frequent security vulnerabilities were reported in JRE.

DESCRIPTION:
There are many vulnerabilities reported in JRE every quarter. To overcome this vulnerabilities issue migrate Telemetry Collector from Java to Python.
All other behavior of Telemetry Collector will remain the same.

RESOLUTION:
Migrated Telemetry Collector from Java to Python.

INSTALLING THE PATCH
--------------------
1. Install the patch using the following command:
    For WINDOWS :

        Prerequisite : 

                        1. Please make sure all other windows(folders) are closed.
                        2. InfoScale product must already be installed on the system.

                        3. Please make sure you are logged-in with Administrator user.
        Steps:
                        1. Extract(un-zip) the sig_licensing-WIN-Patch-7.4.2.300.zip file.
                        2. Open the Administrator CMD console and go to the extracted folder (done in step '1'). This folder will be having the win_lic folder, Windows_Installer.exe, and patch_readme.
                        3. Run the following command on the Administrator CMD to install the new patch on the system: 
                           # Windows_Installer.exe

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
--------------------
1. Please ignore warning messages during patch upgrade.

2. After patch upgrade, you may observe messages like "This instance of InfoScale is not registered with Veritas" in syslogs. You may also observe same message in syslogs at every 90 days interval.
This has no functional impact and it can be ignored.
