Supported Fibre Channel configurations for the NetBackup 5250 appliance
The NetBackup 5250 Appliance can be ordered with up to four preinstalled PCIe 16 Gb Fibre Channel (FC) HBA cards.
The following describes the supported FC HBA slot locations and the port order for the installed FC HBA cards.
Note:
Before you start configuring a particular FC feature on the appliance, make sure that it is supported with your appliance HBA configuration.
The following describes the supported NetBackup 5250 FC options.
Note:
Veritas does not support rearranging the FC HBA cards. Do not swap cards in different slots or install a used card from another appliance without contacting Veritas Support.
