Agent functions for Share agent

Online

Shares an NFS file system.

Offline

Unshares an NFS file system.

Monitor

Reads /etc/dfs/sharetab file and looks for an entry for the file system specified by PathName. If the entry exists, monitor returns ONLINE. If you specify the share options, the agent verifies whether the directory is shared with the specified options or not. If the directory is not shared with the specified options, a warning is displayed.

Clean

Terminates all ongoing resource actions and takes the resource offline, forcibly when necessary.

Action

direxists.vfd

Checks if the path specified by the PathName attribute exists on the cluster node. If the path name is not specified, it checks if a corresponding mount point is available to ensure that the path is on shared storage.
