State definitions

ONLINE

Indicates that the Apache server is running.

OFFLINE

Indicates that the Apache server is not running.

Can also indicate that the administrator has stopped the HTTP server gracefully. Note that the agent uses the PidFile attribute for intentional offline detection.

UNKNOWN

Indicates that a problem exists with the configuration.

FAULTED

Indicates that the Apache server has stopped unexpectedly or is not responding (if in-depth monitoring is enabled) outside of VCS control.
