Attributes for NetBios agent
Table: Required attributes
Required attribute | Description |
---|---|

SambaServerRes | Name of the SambaServer resource. Type and dimension: string-scalar Example: "smb_res1" |
Table: Optional attributes
Optional attribute | Description |
---|---|
Interfaces | List of network interfaces on which Samba handles browsing. Type and dimension: string-vector Example: "172.29.9.24/16" |
NetBiosAliases | List of additional names by which the Samba server is known in the network. Type and dimension: string-vector Example: { host1_samba, myname } Note: Samba has a limitation of 15 characters for NetBios names and aliases. |
WinsSupport | If set to 1, this flag causes the agent to configure Samba as a WINS server. Type and dimension: integer-scalar Default: 0 |
DomainMaster | If set to 1, the agent sets Samba as Domain Master. Note that there can be only one domain master in a domain. Type and dimension: integer-scalar Default: 0 |
PidFile | The absolute path to the NetBIOS daemon pid file. This file contains the process ID of the monitored nmbd process. Configure this attribute if you are using a nonstandard configuration file name or path. If this attribute is not configured for non-standard configuration file names, the agent checks for the nmbd-ConfFile.pid file for resource monitoring. Type and dimension: string-scalar Example: "/usr/local/samba/var/locks/nmbd.pid" |
