Auditing configuration options

Note:

Ensure that you have installed the Veritas Enhanced Auditing feature on a server and have its URL handy before performing the steps listed in this section. For details, see Enterprise Vault™ Discovery Accelerator Installation Guide 14.4 or later.

Use these settings to configure the Audit Server URL and to enable or disable the Enhanced Auditing feature. The Enhanced Auditing feature is used through the Audit viewer tab in the Discovery Accelerator web client.

Audit Server URL

In the URL box, specify the Audit Server URL.

Enable Auditing

Specifies whether to enable or disable the Enhanced Auditing feature. If enabled, the modifications made in the audit modules will be recorded and can be viewed or exported later in Discovery Accelerator web client.

If you have changed any setting with a tick in its Restart Required column, restart the Enterprise Vault Accelerator Manager service on the Discovery Accelerator server to make your changes effective. Discovery Accelerator is mapped with the Audit server endpoint and is ready to provide the Audit viewer feature.
