Asset cleanup
Asset cleanup refers to the process of identifying and removing unused or obsolete resources to optimize costs, improve security, and maintain efficient operations.
Asset cleanup can be done automatically based on specific criteria.
The following are some common criteria before asset cleanup:
If the asset does not have backup images.
If the asset is not subscribed to a backup policy or protection plan.
If the asset is older than the configurable age.
Be default, NetBackup cleans up the assets which are 30 days older.
To set the assets age for auto cleanup
Click Kubernetes workload and then click at the top-right corner of the page.
Click
. Asset cleanup page is displayed.Click Edit and specify the age, in days.
Click Save.
