Import or export job filters
The job filter export and import features allow users to share job filters between users or other NetBackup domains.
Import a jobs filter
To import a jobs filter
- On the left, click Activity monitor. Then click the Jobs tab.
- In the toolbar, click Filter icon.
- Click Actions > Manage filters.
- Click My list.
- Click Add > Import.
- Select the filter that you want to import.
Export a jobs filter
To export a jobs filter
- On the left, click Activity monitor. Then click the Jobs tab.
- In the toolbar, click Filter icon.
- Click Actions > Manage filters.
- Click My list or Shared.
- Select the filter that you want to export.
- Click Export.
NetBackup exports the filter as a .json file. Note that changing the name of the file does not change the filter name. You can change the filter name after it is imported.
