Outcome

Not specified

Not selected

NetBackup associates the newly created snapshots in resource group of the resource.

Specified

Not selected

NetBackup creates new the snapshots and associates the snapshots to the peer resource group if the following conditions are met:

  • The peer resource group is created.

  • The peer resource group is in the same region as the resource group.

If the conditions are not met, snapshot jobs fail.

Specified

Selected

NetBackup creates new snapshots and associates the snapshots to the peer resource group if the following conditions are met:

  • The peer resource group is created.

  • The peer resource group is in the same region as the resource group.

If a peer resource group is not created or is in a different region then the newly created snapshot is associated to the resource group of the resource that is protected.
