11.4.02 patch release notes

The patch release includes all the previous patches of 11.4.xx.

The following changes are included in this release.

Capacity Manager section

SC-59217

Resolves an issue with Array Details probe of Hitachi vantara all flash and hybrid flash storage data collector. The snapshot-replications and/or remote-replications APIs of Array details probe displayed SocketTimeoutException error message.

SC-60465

Resolves an issue with Dell EMC Networker Protection Details probe. The Backup API call used incorrect attribute to execute the process and hence the backups were not getting recorded.

Note:

The issue occurs in DELLEMC_NETWORKER_LOOKBACK_DAYS advance parameter was removed.

SC-61440

Resolves an issue of archiving for HPE StoreOnce systems which failed due to an error.

The Collection Status page contains large amount of data to display for all the data collectors. NetBackup IT Analytics is enhanced to incorporate Collector drop-down. This enhancement facilitates to view the data for selected data collector from the drop-down.

The Assign Privileges feature is enhanced to view and configure the accessibility of the reports for the super user. The following reports are now available for assigning the privileges.

SC-61114

Resolves an issue with My Scheduled Report feature. Add an email address to the existing scheduled report and then click Ok, NetBackup IT Analytics does not respond nor displayed any error message.

SC-61490

Resolved an issue with Scheduled Export on a schedule dialog box for the reports. When ${hour} was used in the Export to the path field, the PM report folder overrides to AM. As a result, only Twelve reports were exported instead of the intended Twenty Four reports.

SC-61822

Resolves an issue in Job Duration report. The Duration column displayed UNKNOWN as the value instead of time unit.

Resolves an issue with Auto Upgrade feature of data collector. Even if the Auto-upgrade aptare.jar and Auto-upgrade Upgrade Manager was configured as No, the data collector was getting upgraded.

The following alerts are no longer available in the Foundation release:

SC-59235

Resolves an issue with VMWare data collector policy after upgrading to version 11.3.01. Even if the VM and ESXi performance collection was not selected or deselected, NetBackup IT Analytics was unable to disable VM and ESXi performance collection probes.

SC-59796

Resolves an issue with Storage Unit Details Probe of Veritas NetBackup using REST API. NetBackup IT Analytics displayed an error message Unable to find data for key.

Note:

The error occurred for NetBackup version 8.1.

SC-59805

Resolves an issue with NetBackup Policy. NetBackup IT Analytics persisted incorrect Storage Life Cycle policy (SLP) details against which it was scheduled. There was a mismatch between the schedule and SLP details.

SC-60435

Resolves an issue when local authentication failed. However, incorrect error message External LDAP authentication successful was displayed. 

SC-60649

Resolves an issue with On demand License Details Probe. When the portal was upgrade from version 11.4.0 to 11.4.01, NetBackup IT Analytics displayed the status of the probe as warning and an error message was displayed.

SC-60875

NetBackup IT Analytics is enhanced to support for SHA-256, SHA-384 and SHA-512 algorithms for SNMP v3 user authentication.

SC-61009

Resolves an issue of database error displayed after upgrading the portal to version 11.4.02. The Database Error Aggregation report displayed APT-DB-109676 and APT-DB-109189 error messages.

SC-61021

Resolves an issue with upgradation process. Few environment variables were not getting configured during the upgrade, hence the upgrades failed without any error message.

SC-61022

Resolves an issue with Windows Data Collector upgrades. When the Data Collector was getting upgraded by the Upgrade Manager, the Data Collector upgradation failed.

SC-61086

The NetBackup IT Analytics dashboard is modified to match the look-and-feel of ALTA View dashboard.

SC-61206

Resolves an issue when the database URL was in TNS.Ora format. NetBackup IT Analytics displayed an error message in portal.log file.

SC-61400

Resolved an issue when NetBackup IT Analytics was not persisting the updated VMware cluster name.

SC-61437

Resolves an error displayed in the portal.log file when the portal started functioning.

SC-61471

Resolves an issue with Veritas NetBackup collection where the CPU spike was observed when NetBackup Resources Monitor was turned on. Also, this issue is resolved for CPU spikes for Compute Resource policy.

SC-61793

Resolves an issue when the portal environment was upgraded from version 11.2.06 to 11.3.05 where the upgrade process came to a halt.
