Add a credential for SQL Server
This type of credential allows NetBackup to access a SQL Server.
To add a credential for SQL Server
- On the left, click Credential management.
- On the Named credentials tab, click Add and provide the following properties:
Credential name (for example: server_credential1)
Tag (for example: workload name)
Description (for example: This credential is used to access workload name)
- Click Next.
- Select Microsoft SQL Server.
- Provide the authentication details that are needed to connect to the SQL Server.
- Click Next.
- Add one or more RBAC roles that you want to have access to the credential.
Click Add.
Select the role name.
Select the credential permissions that you want the role to have.
- Click Next and follow the prompts to complete the wizard.
