Scheduling the deletion of archived files on placeholder deletion for Dell EMC Celerra/VNX
The deletion of archived Celerra/VNX files whose placeholders have been deleted does not occur immediately. The deletion takes place once or twice each day, according to the schedule that you define on the properties of the File System Archiving task.
To schedule the deletion of archived files on placeholder deletion for Celerra/VNX
- In the Administration Console, expand the Enterprise Vault site until the Enterprise Vault Servers container is visible.
- Expand Enterprise Vault Servers.
- Expand the Enterprise Vault server that runs the File System Archiving task to archive from the Celerra/VNX device.
- Click Tasks.
- Right-click the File System Archiving task and, on the shortcut menu, click Properties.
- Click the Celerra tab.
- Set the AM and PM deletion times that you require.
- Click OK.
