Converting a basic disk to a dynamic disk
You can convert a basic disk to a dynamic disk by using the following steps.

To convert a basic disk to a dynamic disk
- In the Current Disk Layout view, right-click a basic disk that you want to convert to a dynamic disk, and then select Convert to Dynamic.
- Read the Advanced Disk Configuration message that appears, and then click Yes.
