10.4.00 P10 Patch Release Notes

The 10.4.00 P10 release includes all patch fixes up to and including 10.3.00 P13. The following software changes are included in this release.

Backup Manager Enhancements and Resolved Issues

Resolves an issue with Host Performance collection.

SC-30516

Resolves an issue for NBU where the status of successful backup was displayed as Failed.

SC-31635

Resolves an issue with the APTARE agent. APTARE agent failed to start if upgrade manager was not available.

Capacity Manager Data Collection Enhancements and Resolved Issues

SC-29913

Resolves the issue of Used Capacity and Available Capacity under the Usable Capacity section, which displays improper data in Storage Overview Report. Also, resolves the issue of Array Utilization Summary Report showing wrong Used Capacity for ECS Arrays.

SC-31638

Resolves an issue with EMC Avamar Operational Data Probe. Earlier, if 'select * from v_gcstatus' returned empty, the status was displayed as Warning. The status is now displayed as Success.

SC-28323

Resolves an issue with the NFS Share Collection. If an error is encountered with NFS Share on windows server, a workaround is provided to continue with the Collection and displayes the same as warning message.

SC-30101

Resolves an issue for VMWare Collection. VMWare collection now persists datastores which are not under any ESX hosts but those datastores are referenced by Virtual Machines.

SC-31615

Resolves an issue with generation of collectorConfig XML which occurred due to an internal error in a third party jar.

Portal Enhancements and Resolved Issues

SC-28154

Resolves an issue in File Analytics to delete the host specific files after aggregation. Also, while importing it to Bantam DB, a default value is set to "Unknown" if the user name is not associated with the file.

SC-29915

Resolves an issue with the Host Capacity & Utilization report. While defining the report scope, if San-attached hosts only option was selected, the report did not displayed the hosts correctly.

SC-31609

Resolves an issue with the Virtual Machines (VM) in a Cluster. Incorrect number of VMs was reported due to overriding of VM information.
