The 10.4.00 P2 release includes all patch fixes up to and including 10.3.00 P12. The following software changes are included in this release.

Backup Manager Enhancements and Resolved Issues

Table:

Issue Number

Description

SC-24368

Performance improvement to persist the Static Data probe efficiently for EMC Avamar data collection.

32708

Resolves an issue where Veritas NetBackup Policy Keywords with a colon ":" embedded within them, would be truncated when parsing the data during collection.

32705

For certain Veritas NetBackup job behavior, the bpdbjobs -t option was failing to return job details. In this release the "-t optimization" is disabled by default, however, you can enable it using the advanced parameter 'ENABLE_MINUS_T_OPTION' and setting it to Y.

32570

Resolves an issue causing some of the logging for the NetBackup job details probe to be created in an incorrect log file.

Capacity Manager Enhancements and Resolved Issues

Table:

Issue Number

Description

SC-24214

NetApp Cluster-Mode enhancement captures User Quota details not associated with QTree for display in reports. Current data collection for NetApp Cluster captures quota information, now even if the quota does not have QTree associated, the quota information is persisted.

Portal Enhancements and Resolved Issues

Table:

Issue Number

Description

SC-24068

SAML configured log file velocity.log has been relocated from /home/tomcat to /opt/tomcat/logs to avoid logging failures in the event the tomcat user home directory was changed to be non-writable.

32688

In the field descriptions for the load_published_views, GB has been replaced with GiB to more accurately describe the value.

32437

Adds a new prerequisite for Linux Portal installation: Verify the rpm fontconfig is installed. Fontconfig is a library designed to provide system-wide font configuration, customization and application access. If the rpm fontconfig is not installed, exporting reports to XLS and PDF will fail.

32314

In the field descriptions for the load_published_views, KB has been replaced with KiB to more accurately describe the value.

28140

Removes advanced filtering option from reports displayed as pivot tables. Standard report scope selection is available. The following reports are impacted:

  • Mission Control for Performance Analysis

  • Mission Control - Backup

  • Job Histogram

  • SnapVault Data Protection Dashboard
