Unmounting a volume and deporting a disk group
Use the VEA Console to unmount a volume and deport a disk group.
To unmount a volume and deport the dynamic disk group
- From the VEA tree view, right-click the volume, click File System, and click Change Drive Letter and Path.
- In the Drive Letter and Paths dialog box, click Remove.
Click OK to continue.
- Click Yes to confirm.
- From the VEA tree view, right-click the disk group, and click Deport Dynamic Disk Group.
- Click Yes.
