A vulnerability was discovered in Veritas Quick Assist version 3.2.0 and prior. On February 6, 2025 CISA published a Know Exploitable Vulnerability (KEV) for a 7-Zip Mark of the Web Bypass Vulnerability impacting all versions of 7-Zip prior to 24.09. Vulnerable versions of 7-Zip were included in the Veritas Quick Assist product prior to the latest available 2.x or 3.x versions.
Affected Versions
Veritas Quick Assist versions: 2.4.173, 2.4.174, 2.4.175, 3.2.0, 3.1.0, 3.0.2, 3.0.1, 3.0.0. Earlier unsupported versions may be affected as well.
