Impact of Data Insight SQL Injection (SQLi) Vulnerability
A vulnerability was discovered in Veritas / Arctera Data Insight versions 7.1, and prior. The vulnerability allows an attacker to modify the syntax of a SQL query in one of the administrative features of the application. This may result in the attacker being able to submit arbitrary SQL commands on the back-end database to create, read, update, or delete data stored in the database.
Affected Versions
Veritas / Arctera Data Insight versions 6.3, 6.3.1, 6.4, 6.4.1, 6.5, 6.5.1, 6.5.2, 6.6, 6.6.1, 6.6.2, 7.0, 7.0.1 and 7.1. Earlier unsupported versions of Veritas / Arctera Data Insight may be affected as well.
