Description
In the pre-rename report of NBServerMigrator update's rename operation, the following list of warnings can be observed:
1. Failed to connect to media/client
- Make sure the connection to all media and clients is successful to avoid manual rename updates to media/client post rename.
- Please refer to NetBackup technical notes for respective error messages/codes related to communication issues.
2. Media server inactive
- Make sure all media servers are up and properly detected for smooth rename operation.
3. Failed to connect to NDMP server
- All NDMP servers should get detected, can be ignored if warning for non NDMP servers reported.
4. Storage server down/Disk pool down/Disk pool volume down -
- Make sure storage server, disk pool and disk pool volume state is up.

5. NetBackup service(s) not running -
- If any of NetBackup service(s) not running, then make sure all NetBackup services running for smooth rename operation.
- Please refer to NetBackup technical notes for respective error messages/codes.
6. Incomplete SLP
- Wait for SLP jobs to complete and make sure no SLP jobs running while running rename operation.
7. Intelligent Catalog Archiving is enabled but no images have been archived
- Can be ignored, It is recommended that ICA should be disabled to skip image archiving which ultimately needs unarchiving before rename operation.

8. Invalid media Id -
- Please check if the mentioned media ids /storage unit still exists.
- If no, then kindly contact NetBackup technical support.
