Description
Veritas Alta Recovery Vault is a cloud-based data vault designed to protect applications and infrastructure from the risks that target backup data, by immutably isolating an off-site data copy in the cloud with a virtual air gap. With Alta Recovery Vault, there is no need to build, manage, and protect a physical site to isolate backup data.
In Veritas Alta View, you can view the usage of the Recovery Vault storage that is provisioned for you. The Veritas Alta View dashboard displays the recovery vault storage usage and you can click View details to navigate to the Veritas Alta Recovery Vault page:
The Recovery Vault storage overview displays usage details on the dashboard and the details page. If Standard and Archive storage are part of your entitlement, you can view the storage usage for your configured cloud service providers as well as the unused storage and over usage, if any. For example, you have 900 TB total storage available and Standard is 700 TB and Archive is 200 TB. The Recovery Vault storage usage overview page displays how much storage is used and unused or overused by Standard storage for Amazon and Microsoft Azure. Similar information is displayed for Archive storage.
The Recovery Vault overview also displays the date when the usage is collected. If your usage is between 80% to 90%, 90% to 100%, or exceeds 100%, a message is displayed on the Recovery Vault storage overview page with the actual usage (in percentage). Depending on how much you have used, the severity of the message changes.
