Overview
There may be an instance where indexes will need to be moved to a different location on the same server.
Resolution
- Back up the SQL databases and the Enterprise Vault server.
- Stop the Enterprise Vault Indexing Service on the Enterprise Vault server.
- Copy the contents of the index location from the old to the new location.
Note: Create the new Index location prior to copying the content. - From the Enterprise Vault Administration console, configure the new Index location on Enterprise Vault Indexing Service properties.
- Start the Enterprise Vault Indexing Service.
