Problem

A replication from MSDP WORM storage is successful but the job details shows a critical error message:

MBDeleteImage: Failed to complete deleteimage webservice ((unknown)) V-454-47

Error Message

Apr 16, 2021 3:55:18 PM - Critical bpdm (pid=31371) Storage Server Error: (Storage server: PureDisk:STOARGESERVER) MBDeleteImage: Failed to complete  deleteimage webservice ((unknown)) V-454-47 Apr 16, 2021 3:55:18 PM - Info bpdm (pid=31371) Failed to delete WORM locked image CLIENTNAME_C1_IM: error 2060069.

The message is also logged to the bpdm log.

Cause

A replication job requires the rewrite of the image metadata (IM) fragment information on the source storage but if the source is WORM the IM fragment is WORM locked, so the deletion fails.  The MSDP plugin returns this critical but harmless message to the job details.

Solution

The replication job is a success and this error message can safely be ignored.
