ERROR: Detected a failure running cp_to_client Solaris Solaris_x86_10_64.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

installed logs:-

Detected an attempt to install an incorrect platform and/or
operating system and version client binaries on nbclient2

Cause

-> Checked the Version on the Solaris which was at lower version than expected:

#cat /etc/release

Oracle Solaris 10 1/13 s10x_u11wos_24a X86

#pkginfo -l SUNWsolnm | grep VERSION

VERSION 10,REV=2011.08.23.14.17 ----> lower version than expected

Solution

-> Installation for VRTSnbclt used to fail when the cp_to_client the script is invoked while installing the NetBackup 8.2 and above.

-> This fails due to the minimum Version (SUNWsolnm) required for Installing/Upgrading the Solaris to NetBackup 8.2 and above is VERSION 10,REV=2013.01.17.09.23

-> This Version is hardcoded in the cp_to_client the script, and thus fails when the version is lower than expected.
