Problem

Receiving alert that 'CloudLink hasn't run for 30 days' even when not provisioning users using CloudLink

Error Message

No error message is received. An email alert is sent out to which reads as below.

Dear Valued Veritas Customer,

Thank you for choosing Veritas Alta Archiving to meet your archiving needs.

Alert: This notification is to alert you that your configured user sync for Alta Archiving for CompanyA has not run for 30 days.

Action required: Please take a few minutes to log in to your Veritas Alta™ View Compliance & Governance(Manage) Console, review your current Cloud Link configuration and make any necessary updates.

Cause

CloudLink Notifications weren't disabled before disabling the CloudLink option.

Solution

1. Login to Veritas Alta™ View Compliance & Governance(Manage) Console.
2. Navigate to Configuration -> User Management -> Manage account provisioning remotely and select the Using on-premise CloudLink tool option. Save the configuration. 
3. Click on the CloudLink Sync option from the menu pane under Configuration.
4. Under Notification Email, disable the Enable notifications option.

5. Go back to User Management -> Manage account provisioning remotely and remove the option Using on-premise CloudLink tool and save the configuration.
