Protection support for OpenStack deployed on CEPH Storage and Backup Host deployment of global admin.
Problem
CEPH Storage - Protection for OpenStack deployed on CEPH based Cinder Storage.
Global admin - Backup hosts are deployed for a special tenant (backup tenant) that is responsible for performing backup or restore operations for all the other tenants or projects within OpenStack cluster.
Cause
Support for Different Backup Architecture, where proxies in one tenant can backup instances from other tenants.
Guaranteed OpenStack VM snapshot deletion at backup time when using Ceph (Luminous) RBD as Cinder Backend.
Ability to restore additional instance metadata when recovering OpenStack VM Instance from backup.
