  • NetBackup Appliance 5.0.0.1 is the final release supported on 5330
  • Expansion shelves are not interchangeable between product models. 
  • NetBackup 5240 storage expansion shelves end of sale (EOS) date is June 1st, 2022. This is the last date on which Veritas can accept a purchase order for the 5240 storage expansion shelf.
  • NetBackup 5340 storage expansion shelves end of sale (EOS) date is March 30th, 2023. This is the last date on which Veritas can accept a purchase order for the 5340 storage expansion shelf.
  • NetBackup 5250 and 5350 storage expansion shelves end of sale (EOS) date is June 30th, 2025. This is the last date on which Veritas can accept a purchase order for the 5250 or 5350 storage expansion shelf.

*Appliance Models must have both an active support contract for the appliance as well as an active support contract for a SUPPORTED software version in order to receive technical support. Please see the Veritas Appliance Support Policy for additional information. Appliances with active support contracts with EOSL software may receive limited hardware support (best effort diagnosis, field service hardware replacement/repair) only. Appliances that have reached 5 years past ship-date require Extended Appliance Support in order to be eligible for technical support.
