Problem
OpsCenter 8.1.2 may log excessively to the java0.log. See article 100044146 for details. After implementing the change to limit the java0.log logging, it is observed that other log files stop logging information. These include the following logs:
- <install_path>\server\logs\mail_<date>.log
- <install_path>\server\logs\trap_<date>.log
- <install_path>\server\logs\58330-423_*.log
Error Message
There is no error. The logs mentioned above just simply stop logging.
Solution
Upgrade OpsCenter to version 8.2 or later and remove the LogManagerResetFlag=true entries that were added from article 100044146. OpsCenter 8.2 or later no longer requires to have the changes from article 100044146 in place.
