ERROR Initializing NetBackup Catalog.Solution
This could be caused by a missing or expired VERITAS NetBackup (tm) license key.
One of the restore procedures of an SQL database to an alternate client is to launch the NetBackup MS SQL Client GUI on the target client server.
After launching the MS SQL Client GUI, select Action | Restore and type the source client host name to be able to browse the backups performed on that client.
Then click OK, and at this point the error occurs (figure 1).

Another possible reason why this error occurs is bad hostname resolution. Make sure that NetBackup Master Server and the target SQL Server can resolve each other's hostname and IP address properly. Also make sure that the source client specified in the NetBackup SQL restore GUI matches the one in SQL backup policy.
